I think that sums it up, right? So I’m thinking of ideas. As some of you know, the I Loved You First blog tour is fast approaching. August 15 – September 15, if you haven’t heard.

Tell me some of the SWAG you’ve received in the past. What are your favorites. If you have pictures, leave a link! I want to see. Was there S.W.A.G you wanted but didn’t win? Let us in on it.

Some ideas I have on my mind right now are key chains, bookmarks, and postcards.

I looked at my calendar and see I missed last weeks Working Wednesday some how. I sure hope I made some decent progress over the last couple of weeks, but I have a feeling I haven’t. If you’re interested in my last update, check it here.

Edit Chasing Shadows
- One scene a day
  - Last update 6/57 scenes
  - This week’s progress 7/57 scenes I’ve found my motivation… at least some of it. These days it’s more about finding the time without sacrificing other things in my life.
Maintaining 100+ words a day over at Word Count Union
- This will be accomplished either by working on Trinity’s Awakening
  - Last week’s word count: 22,519
  - Current word count: 23,089 I think I’m back on track with writing consistently. Yes, I missed writing yesterday, but I spent a lot of it traveling then spent time with my mom.
Clean up blog and update links
- I addressed a few pages and posts, but still have a lot of work to do.
2011 Reading Challenge ~ basically just stay on top of this. As of today, I’m two books ahead of my reading challenge.

In other news!!!!

Amazon is offering Control Freak for free on the Kindle. As of right now… this VERY moment, Control Freak is #10 in the Erotica genre. Way cool, right? It’s been steadily climbing all day. If you’ve been wanting it, now is the time to pick it up. I’m not sure how long it’ll be free at Amazon.

Okay. Quick look at my goals for last week. I’m afraid I didn’t accomplish too much. I’m condensing this a bit, but to see the full plan, please refer to last week’s goals.

Edit Chasing Shadows
- One scene a day
  - Last week 5/57 scenes
  - This week’s progress 6/57 scenes I’m about halfway through scene 7. Overall, I was just lame this week. I’m having a bit of issues with motivation.
Maintaining 100+ words a day over at Word Count Union
- This will be accomplished either by working on Trinity’s Awakening
  - Last week’s word count: 21,717
  - Current word count: 22,519 I missed a couple of writing days, including tonight. Shame, shame.
Clean up blog and update links
- I haven’t addressed this problem, but I’ve been on top of current posts… making sure all the links are dandy.
2011 Reading Challenge ~ basically just stay on top of this. Last week I was at 18 books. My progress:

Okay… yeah, I’m a slacker. This post should have been my A Round of Words in 80 Days (ROW80) from last Thursday. Here’s the thing. The first round of ROW80 ended last week. The next round starts next month. I loved it, by the way. The goal setting was fabulous. It’s time for me to spread my wings. What I’m going to do is weekly updates on Wednesdays (Working Wednesdays) so those who give a darn can keep track with my progress. But first, let’s look at my goals for this time around and what I accomplished.

March: Edit Alley Cat
- I don’t think I did anything the past two weeks on this. I plan to finish my edits for the current scene I’ve been working for weeks, then move on to the 2nd book in the Striped Ones Series.
Bonus Goal: Maintaining 100+ words a day over at Word Count Union.
- Continue working on New Adult novel ~ I Loved You First. At last count I was at 32,759 words. Now, I’m at 36,602. During this nearly two week period, I missed three days of writing. As you may recall from the last update, I’d hit the last chapter. Well, I finished that. What I’m doing now is going back and completing any scenes with gaps. I’ve finished the first draft, including missing elements, for Act One. I have the final chapter in Act Two to complete and two scenes in Act Three. Not bad. I’m quite please. Hopefully come April first I’ll be done with the first draft and have it ready for beta readers. Anyone interested?
- Begin new 100-word-a-day novel. Trinity’s Awakening ~ New Adult Suburban Fantasy. Haven’t started this yet but will after I finish I Loved You First.

Finish I Loved You First
- Complete last chapter of Act II
- Fill in the gaps in Act III
- Quick Spell Check before I send it to my daughter to beta read. If you don’t mind reading a first draft, let me know. I’m willing to send a few copies out. Just keep in mind, I wouldn’t send a first draft out for critiquing, so it’d be rather unpolished. For a blurb of I Loved You First, check it here.

How about a little Transparency? Not saying I'm going to knock everything out in one day, but I sure as heck will try. So this is the list of administrative tasks I want to knock out.
