Stop by for a May 22 Teaser

Well I’m a bit behind on what I’ve received in my mailbox lately. I’ve had several cool books come in this week and last. So here goes, working backwards!

This novel didn’t actually arrive at my doorstep. So a little story about this novel. I’d heard a lot of hype about Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. Eventually, I decided to check it out myself and made the purchase. When it arrived, my daughter snagged it, read it, and loved it! I’m just now starting it. Well a couple of weeks ago, I won a copy of Linger in the Wolves of Mercy Falls giveaway presented by Arena (The Nerd’s Wife Blog)! Arena was kind enough to send it directly to my daughter. Today it arrived! Thank you, Arena! My daughter’s thrilled and set aside her current read to start Linger. Can hardly wait for my opportunity to read it. First I need to knock out Shiver.

Okay, next up is Need. The funny thing about this, I wasn’t expecting it when it arrived. I’d just received a email from the Book Depository notifying me one of my pre-ordered books was a few days prior. So I ripped opened my goodie bag and voila! It wasn’t my preordered book! It was Need!!!! The book I won in Urban Girl Reader‘s Extravaganza Giveaway. I received my choice of books and chose Need after winning a copy of Captivated (book number #2) in a prior giveaway. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I totally have to start series at the beginning.

Last but not least, the Burning Up anthology. I’m actually a fan of Nalini Singh and purchased this book with her in mind. HOWEVER!!! I’ve wanted to try works by Angela Knight and Meljean Brook for some time now. Guess this is my opportunity. :) Unfortunately, with my books piling high, I’m not sure when I’ll get around to this anthology. Maybe when I run short on time one week and face not finishing a book for my weekly review. We’ll see.

These titles are available at the Book Depository!
