Okay. So the Book Depository delivers worldwide for FREE!!! I used to order my books from Amazon, which also offers free delivery. EXCEPT!! I had to order $25 worth of books or more at a time. As my fellow book lovers know. Sometimes we only want $24 worth of books. As a result, I always had to make up the difference with that last, less than wanted item. But no more with the Book Depository.
So why am I boasting about the book depository today? Well, because yesterday I received MORE books! Another thing about the book depository that I love is they ship each book I order separately even if I order it in a batch. Now for some, this might be annoying. For me, on the other hand, it’s a delight. My last order included 8 books, 6 which I’ve received so far. I got 1 on Thursday and 3 on Friday, which I mentioned yesterday during the dead of night (see here). Yesterday morning, I received a couple more, which I’ll talk about in a bit.
So why do I love this odd disbursement of books? Well, I’ll tell you! It’s like my birthday all over again! My family stands over me as I tear open each package and reveal my treasure. Then I croon or sigh depending on if it’s the one I wanted the most out of my order. Oh my gosh! It’s such a thrill.
Now for the goodies which arrived yesterday.
I ordered these two for the exact same reason. I’ve read all of these two series until these books. After awhile, I just kind of got tired of them. You know there’s only so many ways you can do the whole vampire romance. Then one day I was lounging around (I know what you’re thinking…I lounge around every day, right?). Anyway I thought, I’m in the mood for a good laugh, the kind Lynsay Sands provides. Then I remembered my good author Kerrelyn Sparks and all the great laughs I’ve had with her books. Next thing I knew, they were in my batch buy. Here’s to renewing old loves!
If no one’s let you in on it yet, The Book Depository is having a birthday coupon thingie. 10% off your order. The offer is good until August 31, 2010. If you’re interested in receiving one either send me an email at reenajacobs@reenajacobs.com or leave a comment. I’d be happy to send you coupon love.

As an avid reader, she’s known to hoard books and begs her husband regularly for “just one more purchase.” Her home life is filled with days chasing her preschooler and nights harassing her husband. Between it all, she squeezes in time for writing and growling at the dog. You can find Reena on Ramblings of an Amateur Writer, Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Nobles, and Smashwords.
