So I mentioned I read my reviews…. I really do. Even the ones on Amazon. Shame on me. When you think about it, it’s not like I have so many I can’t get through them all in like… 2 minutes. Well, some of the ones on Control Freak: Brandon’s Story have me confused, particularly the ones in relation to Regina in nudity.
I mean… what’s the big deal? So she goes around naked. Some folks make it seem like she’s some kind of sexual predator abusing her children or something. People, it’s just flesh. She’s not inviting the kids into the bedroom while she gets it on with her husband; she’s not swinging her globes in her kiddies face. She’s just chilling.
Then folks make the grand leap! My girl Regina is NOT trying to entice her husband by walking around naked in front of her children. She walks around naked, because it’s comfortable… simple as that. Modesty is lost on her. From Brandon’s head to your screen.
It’s erotica, yeah… but some folks need to get their minds out of the nasty gutter and stop trying to make connections which don’t exist. Next thing we know, people in nursing homes won’t be able to get baths because families will think the aids have some kind of sexual agenda every time a piece of clothing gets removed.
By the way, I heard Ellen gets naked when she takes showers. 🙂
Now I’m not a TV fan, but the tube was on nonstop while I was hanging at my uncle’s house. You know the channel with the eye in the corner of every show? Yeah… that’s the one — on morning, noon, and night. And low and behold! Ellen was on. 🙂 I haven’t seen that gal in ages. And who was her guest? Why Halle Berry. The two of them addressed three rumors. Have a look.
If Halle Berry can do it, Regina’s good to go, right? 🙂 I plan to get Regina’s Story out this year. You’ll get a bit of insight into what’s in that pretty little head of hers… and I guarantee it’s not using her children to entice her husband. My word! I think I got two reviews who said that. People! Stop! Stop! Stop!
Look. Head to Amazon and look inside or download the sample. It’s free to try. Keep in mind, it’s only about 3K words so don’t be surprised when the short story turns out to be a short story as the description states. I’ll snark about folks who don’t read descriptions then get mad they received what was advertised for another day. 🙂 Until then, read for yourself without adding oddities which aren’t there.
Brandon is an overworked husband with a wife who wants a little too much. Sex, that is. When his wife starts throwing him hints about bondage and masochism, he’s sure she’s flipped. In the end, Brandon must decide which lines he’s willing to cross for the women he loves.

I know I’ve set myself up with this post. Nasty, personal attacks will not be tolerated. However, I’m open-minded. If you have something to add like, “I can see where folks are coming from” and want to add your buck fifty, go for it.
